Biography
STEWART L. GITLER holds a Bachelors of Chemical Engineering from The Cooper Union and received a J.D. from the Hofstra University School of Law. Mr. Gitler brings over 30 years of legal experience to the firm. Mr. Gitler has an extensive background in chemical technology practice and is experienced in all phases of U.S. and International Intellectual Property procurement and opposition practice as well as in unfair competition issues. He is a member of the New York Bar and the Virginia State Bar. In addition, he is registered to practice in front of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He has also been named as a member of Virginia's legal elite for the years 2008-2023 and is rated as an AV Preeminent Attorney by Martindale-Hubbell Peer Ratings.
